About Me

Research engineer with 30 years of industrial experience in the fields of audio and mobile, space, and aeronautical telecommunications systems, specialized in signal and image processing, and more specifically in machine learning. He obtained his engineering degree and his research master’s degree in signal and image processing from ENSEEIHT, Toulouse, France, in 1994.

  • Ambient noise cancellation in an electromagnetic compatibility measurement system: optimization of a WOLA (Weighted OverLap and Add) filter bank and adaptive filtering
  • Spectral analysis of satellite altimetric signals: adaptation of spectral analysis to very low frequencies through the introduction of frequency warping


• Anomaly Detection
  
  • Transfer Learning applied to anomaly detection in satellite telemetry: how to improve the performance of a detector by incorporating knowledge learned from another satellite.
  • Anomaly detection in satellite orbits using TLE (Two-Line Elements): adaptation and comparison of various methods such as One-Class SVM (Support Vector Machine), LoOP (Local Outlier Probabilities), and Isolation Forest
  • Anomaly detection in aircraft landing using learning-based methods: introduction of domain-specific descriptors to improve performance
  • Automatic monitoring of ship trajectories using Machine Learning (ANR ASTRID project): trajectory adaptation for ingestion by ML algorithms, introduction of user feedback for anomaly detection and ship activity classification.
