Remote working, May 2020 - November 2020
Responsible for state of the art research and proposal of areas of interest for future projects involving low cost satellite technologies. This position was a part-time internship conducted in parallel with the above research internship, showing my initiative to find interesting projects during the start of the COVID era and complete my Master's thesis in parallel.
University of South Australia, Mawson Lakes, SA, Australia, January 2018 - February 2018
Intensive summer school that explores all domains related to space studies while training participants in team projects, research, design, and presentation. Final team project proposed an idea to use satellite positioning to aid in disaster relief. Other highlights include construction of Rube-Goldberg machines, a model rocket launch, weather balloon launch, and many intercultural dinners.
A student run organisation that aims to connect Australian Students with the nations Aerospace industry. Regular networking events are planned in universities around the country. During my service with AYAA, I took the role of local Outreach Coordinator where I visited several schools to present the interesting aspects of Aerospace engineering and motivate the younger generation. The annual Aerospace Futures conference is hosted by the AYAA and I had the pleasure as a Speakers Coordinator to aid in the organisation of AF 2017 in Adelaide, Australia.
Scanning historic engineering drawings of the aircraft AAC Wamira. Translation of Japanese engineering drawing for CAD modeling of a hydraulic press foundation. Exporting of loft line coordinates for CAD design of aircraft skin. CAD design of form block to be used for restoration of the Silvaire Luscombe aircraft.
My student team raised funds to travel to Vietnam and Cambodia for volunteer work and completing a hike on a challenging route. Main contributions include renovations of orphanage kitchen and donation of construction materials.
